Default Will V&H Quiet Baffles Lose Power

I have BSS and am considering putting quiet baffles in them but I don't want to lose any power. Will these hurt power enough to notice? Will the cut the noise enough to bother?

I can't say fact based but I've heard that these will hit you for about 5hp so if that's more important than reducing the noise then I would think twice. If a quieter ride is more important then ya know.

Let us know how you make out.

A buddy of mine used those quiet baffles and according to him he couldn't feel any difference. It would make sense to lose power, but I can't be fact based that it does.

I would expect that every bike would react differently.

I don't see it losing any power.....some bikes I've heard will even pick up over a louder baffle so who knows.

If there is a difference to be had at all then I doubt you could feel it with the butt dyno....know what I mean.

We bought my wife an 05 Deluxe a month or so ago and we put quiet baffles in the V&H Big Shot Longs.....we didn't dyno it but the butt dyno showed no change.

Noticeably more quiet but still sounds great!
