Default Best 2 into 1 Pipe for Power

I am building a 107ci Dyna and I want a pipe that looks good but will make great power. Everything I read tells me that 2 into 1 pipes make the best power.

Is that true and if it is then which 2 into 1 pipe is the best one for me?

Sid...I have a similar build as you are planning and while I don't know that my pipe will build the most power, I do feel confident that it's one of the best ones on the market.

I did a ton of reading and researching and asking questions like yours before settling on the D&D Fat Cat before I became convinced that it was the right one. In fact, I think I did 2x the research I normally would because I thought the pipe was a bit ugly but once I got it on the bike, I actually liked the way it looked.

The power difference was noticeable and easily apparent and most dyno charts that you see will back that up as well. The 2 into 1 pipes typically fatten up the 2-4k rpm range on the torque curve and will often match or exceed top end power of many 2 into 2 pipes.

The fat torque curve makes the bike much more enjoyable to ride, i.e. you won't have to downshift as often. You can find more D&D Fat Cat reviews here.

I have a V&H Pro Pipe that makes great power and looks great. It's a bit spendy but what isn't on a Harley.

A 2 into 1 pipe will typically outperform just about any 2 into 2 pipe unless something is completely out of whack.

I've heard great things about the Fat Cat though.

Another vote for the Pro Pipe HO....it's badass and I dig Vance and Hines pipes. They just work good, look good and sound good.

Vance and Hines = Good.

Default d&d

D&D its a little more $ but the numbers dont lie. I run dyno's all the time and the d&d is best pipe out there right now as far as power and sound. It blows the doors off of any v&h system out there. Im getting a set for mine as soon as I get some extra loot. I am a tech for harley and have'nt see anything else close
