Default Installing O2 bungs

Looks like I am going to be buying a pipe that doesn't have 02 bungs already installed. How much of a pain is it and can you weld the 02 bungs into a pipe like this? Am I nuts for even trying?

This isn't a problem although it would have to be a heck of a deal on those pipes to get me to bother doing it. Just mark the bungs, drill and weld the new bungs in place. Take some time to make sure they are close to the right locations and then go.

Measure twice, cut once kind of thing.

I just installed Hooker 2 into 1s on my 07 and welded in some bungs picked up from Summit. I used ceramic high temp paint on the bungs and welds. Matches the Hooker ceramic coating perfectly. So far no problems.

Love the pipes by the way.

I used the 45* bungs from Zippers when I installed my Tmax. They're on my stock head pipe. Measured 4 times cut once.

Its not hard but what kind of Fuel Tuner are you using? Could you just use some O2 Sims instead of going through the hassle of adding sensor bungs?

Just a thought.
