Default Sportster Exhaust Upgrade Time

Bike is up for the winter and my "winter mod list" includes a Stage 1 upgrade. The bike is a 2009 Sportster 1200 and I am not looking for super loud pipes, just a nice healthy rumble.. The cheaper the better so if you think slip ons are ok then share your thoughts there, I am not opposed to them as long as their isn't something bad about them that I don't know.

TIA Guys.

I am partial to the Vance and Hines Big Shots for Sportsters.....the black version looks awesome on the right bike and chrome looks pretty damn good on just about anything.

Great idea....if you aren't in a hurry then take your time and listen to other bikes and find what you like.

I just bought a 1200 Nightster and the stock pipes are pretty quiet. I plan on getting some new pipes as soon as possible but I also want to hear a couple before I decide. I've heard that Screamin Eagles sound pretty nice on sportsters but I've yet to hear one. I think YouTube would be a good place to start searching for sound clips.
