Description:

I ordered this device from Dobeck Performance 6 months ago. Google Dobeck Performance for web page. $150.00 was the military discount. $249.00 otherwise. It is completely plug and play on my 2009 Road Glide. No computers involved to tune. Once plugged into the bikes fuel injector wires and grounded to the battery it is installed. There are 4 small screws on the device. Each screw controls what is called a "Pot" or Potentiometer. To set the first or primary screw you bring the rpms up to 2000 and turn the screw until the bikes runs smoothly. The second, third and fourth screw are set using the factory recommended setting for your specific bike. You many deviate from the factory settings if you like, but my experience has been that they are spot on. I installed the TFI under my seat at the same time as a high volume air cleaner ($130.00 Screaming Eagle) purchased from the dealer. Installation time was one hour. I can truthfully say that I was not expecting the performance gain that I got. It really grabs you by the seat of the pants now when you crank it on. I guestimate an additional 12-15 horsepower gain. The TFI is load based so it only adds fuel when you twist the throttle more than is necessary. After 25,000 miles of logging fuel purchased it shows 39 mpg to be the average. If you were a very tepid rider and never wanted to go over 60 mph I could see you getting maybe 42 mpg. It is 100% stealthy so if you ever sold the bike there is absolutely no evidence it was there. I highly recommend this device for those who want to cool off their bikes while adding a quick 12-15 horsepower at the same time. I have no connection with manufacturer other than I like this device. Since installing mine I have put it on four other bikes that ride in my group and nobody has had bad results. Lots of smiling going on when they first ride after installation though.
