I can't help it...the trailer for the new Star Trek movie simply looks awesome!! I don't see me going to any conventions anytime soon but I definitely am going to see the movie when it opens this weekend.
I still can't figure though, is it supposed to be like a Prequel?
If so, who the heck are they going to get to play Spock? Or Kirk?

Yuckers... Y'all wanna see StarTrek? Why a mans' got himself a Harley.. Seeing StarTrek? Woohee... I ding dang went to one StarTrek Convention... It involved a pretty gal named Daisy and a case of bud and one wrong tuwn on I-75... Boy were my ears ding danged red!

Even i am a nerd.....I was planning the same...I had gone to see X-Men as well.....What is so funny about it....Live your life according to your standards...rest is crap..........
They're all young so you could be right Chris, but I haven't read up on it lately.
But I have a bit of a confession about my movie-going experiences... I'm a sucker for special effects. I've gone to movies PURELY for the effects, counting the rest as a bonus
That being said, Star Trek looks like it's going to at least be visually stunning, and I enjoyed Cloverfield so I think Abrams will do fine.
