I retired early, so "commute" is hardly the word. I have a Sportster 48 ("Spinner") I use for short hops and to the gym, and a Dyna ("Black Betty") as a road bike.
A riding season is precious here in Wisconsin. And if I can, I ride. Trucks are for the snow, and lately that little Sportster is the way I get to anywhere.
I feel for you guys that have shuch bad winters,I would go nuts not being able to ride for that leaghth of time
