Exclamation Has everyone taken the ERC yet?

MSF Experienced Rider Course

I haven't been riding too long so I haven't had a chance yet, but several people I've met insist that you not only take the ERC, but take it again every one or two years!

What about you guys?

My wife is taking the MSF class today. She rode with me two years ago but last summer a broken ankle kept us from riding much so she doesn't feel comfortable on the bike anymore.

I'd highly recommend this class to anyone who hasn't ridden motorcycles a lot and even some of those who have judging by the way I see many people ride out there on the road.

My wife took the MSF class in February. I agree....she felt much better after taking the class.

She's the proud new owner of an 09 Nightster now. So far so good...knock on wood.

I took that class 4 or 5 years ago. It was decent but I was a pretty experienced rider anyways but took it just in case. I think I got a discount on my insurance if I remember right too.

My wife took the MSF class when she started to ride and is a big fan of it. I had tried to teach her to ride but she didn't want to listen so we sent her to the class. She seemed to get a lot out of it and she's still riding today....two years later.

I definitely would recommend it.

I took the MSF class about 5 or 6 years ago...definitely worth the time if you aren't very confident of a rider. I had ridden motorcycles when I was younger but hadn't ridden in several years so I figured it would be a good idea to take it over.

Thumbs up from me.

I took the MSF class when I made the switch from dirt bikes to street bikes. Even though I knew how to ride a bike and was riding dirt bikes for years, there is still a lot to learn regarding rules of the road and tips and tricks on how to ride safe. I would definitely recommend taking the class. You may only learn one thing, but that one thing may save your life. And yes, most insurance companies offer a discount. Ride Safe
